    The certification is entirely online and self-paced - you decide when you start and when you finish.

  • What is the format of the exam?

    The certification exam is composed of two parts:

    - Randomized multiple-choice questions that will test your knowledge and understanding of key terms, concepts, and mobile application functionality.
    You have one attempt, and the passing grade is 50%.

    - A practical assessment where you will be asked to upload a telecom tower dataset captured for inspection.

  • What hardware and software do I need to take the exam?

    - The ability to capture and share images of a telecommunications tower, which may require permission from a telecommunications tower owner.
    - A camera, controller, drone, and mobile device that is compatible with PIX4Dcapture Pro.
    - A camera, internet browser, and operating system that is compatible with PIX4Dinspect.

    You can prepare for the Telecom Drone Pilot certification exam by:

  • What happens if I fail the exam?

    If you do not receive a passing grade for the theoretical part of the Telecom Drone Pilot certification exam, you need to contact us at [email protected].

    Note that the certification exam is designed to measure candidates’ skills and abilities with Pix4Dcapture Pro, not their ability to study or memorize specific questions that were on the exam. Qualified candidates will be able to pass this exam regardless of the questions asked. As a result, to protect the integrity of the certification process, Pix4D does not share information about the specific questions that were missed.

    If you do not receive a passing grade for the practical part of the Telecom Drone Pilot certification exam, you will be able to submit another dataset. In this case, you may still need a valid PIX4Dinspect license to be able to capture, create, and share another dataset. If you do not have a valid PIX4Dinspect license anymore, please contact us at [email protected].
